Hadiza
Salma Blell popularly known as Di’ja has reportedly delivered of a baby boy.
The
reports have been confirmed by a family member living in Banjul, Gambia who
confirmed the joyous incident, said the mother and child are in healthy
condition.
“Di’Ja’s
baby came last week. The family is quite happy. She is a cousin. She delivered
a baby boy last week in US”, the source revealed.
The
singer who managed to keep the news of her pregnancy away from the media also shared the news via
her Instagram handle with a 2-part animation detailing how she met her husband
and finally leading up to the birth of her son. She however did not
specify when her bundle of joy arrived but noted that she is back home and
ready to hit the studio with fresh material.
Di’Ja,
whose mother is from Kaduna and dad from Sierra Leone, married her Abuja-based
lover December 10, 2015 in Kaduna at a colourful wedding.
